Cheap TV Spots Answers Speculation About Acquiring TiVo

Tampa, FL - 11 December 2006 - Fast-growing online TV advertising agency Cheap TV Spots (www.cheap-tv-spots.com) responded to blog speculation regarding a possible buy of TiVo.  “Cheap TV Spots has no immediate plans to acquire TiVo,” said company president, Ann Clark.  “TiVo is actually a better M&A target for Yahoo, Google or ASK.com. We are not ruling out partnering with TiVo or another DVR provider.”

At a time when the Cheap-TV-Spots star is rising (the media mavens recently received the MarCom Creative Awards 2006 Gold Award), buzz on the internet is increasing about future moves by the company to broaden its market footprint.  “We are currently focusing on our new mobile ad delivery system, as well as a hyper-discount, 24-hour turnaround, national TV advertising program for small businesses,” Clark said.  Cheap TV Spots provides domestic and international clients instant access to the entire North American TV market, and gives start-up technology companies and franchise businesses an inexpensive platform to launch campaigns locally or nationally.

Also among the many companies rumored to be good candidates for an acquisition of TiVo are Apple Computer, Microsoft, Time Warner/AOL, and Amazon.

In the TV advertising industry, Cheap-TV-Spots.com is renowned for its national caliber TV commercials produced on a shoestring budget.  In 2006 alone, Cheap TV Spots has won the Crystal Vision Silver Award, Pegasus Award of Excellence, Summit Creative Awards Silver, Telly Bronze, Videographer Award of Distinction,  and Worldfest Houston Bronze Remi, among others.  Since its founding in 2001, CheapTVSpots.com has won 42 national and international awards for its original commercial productions, including 5 Telly Awards.

"Cheap TV Spots" and the three-dogs logo are a registered trademark of Academy Leader, Inc. (www.academyleaderinc.com), a multi-faceted media company spanning TV, radio, film and new media venues.
